HWG Lists Charters and Instructions hwg-business

hwg-business

Welcome to the HWG-BUSINESS mail list.

The HWG-Business list is used by the HTML Writers Guild to discuss matters related to the business/financial/marketing aspects of running an HTML shop.

Discussions about contracts, ethics, copyright, marketing, sales techniques, etc are most appropriate. Discussing what to charge, prices, etc. is not a topic for this list. If you have a strong desire to discuss what to charge please read the Pricing FAQ prior to posting.

Special Note: Jobs available/RFP's belong in the RFP area. The RFP service is now available to paying members. Please go to the Jobs and Contracts Area page to get more information about this service. The Jobs available service is not yet operational. This type of post may be submitted to lg-business@hwg.org for approval. Upon approval the List Guides will post the message to the list. Hwg-business is the only list where these posts will be allowed. Once the Jobs Available area is operational, these posts will no longer be allowed on the hwg-business list. RFPs are not allowed on the list. For complete guidelines on this please review The hwg-business FAQ

The Guild offers a number of other lists that cover other, specific topics. For more information please see the Mailing Lists home page.

Subscribers of the HWG-Business mailing list are expected to follow basic rules of netiquette in a civilized manner; please read over the guidelines.
